The Ontario Hockey League announced finalists for the league's major awards on Wednesday and members of the Sarnia Sting are some of the names on the list.
Jordan Kyrou is among the nominees for the Red Tilson Trophy, an award given to the league's most outstanding player. Kyrou finished third in OHL scoring with 109 points.
Defenseman Cam Dineen was named a finalist for the Max Kaminsky Trophy which is given to the top d-man in the OHL. Dineen was also nominated for the most sportsmanlike player of the year, the William Hanley Trophy.
Goaltender Justin Fazio also has a chance to bring home two awards. The Sarnia native is in the running for goaltender of the year and overage player of the year, the Leo Lalonde Memorial Trophy.
And finally head coach Derian Hatcher is among seven finalists for the Matt Leyden Trophy which is given to the league's top coach.
