Vehicle smashes through Eastland storefront

One person was treated for minor injuries after a vehicle smashed through a glass storefront at Sarnia's Eastland Centre Tuesday afternoon.

A black SUV ended up inside the New Beginnings Club on Indian Road South.

Sarnia police, fire and Lambton EMS responded just before 2 p.m.

A bystander was treated on scene for minor injuries and police were speaking to a female driver.

New Beginnings was closed and the investigation is ongoing.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
