The Sarnia Braves, representing Ontario, were defeated by Manitoba 11-10 in ten innings in the team's final game at the National Men's Baseball Championship in Miramichi, New Brunswick Saturday.
The Braves took an early lead with five runs in the top of the first but Manitoba would counter with two runs in the bottom of the first.
Sarnia scored once in the second and twice in the fourth to take an 8-2 lead but Manitoba scored six runs in the fifth inning to tie the game.
Another two runs for the Braves in the sixth inning before Manitoba plated two in the seventh.
Manitoba won the game with a run in the tenth inning.
Sarnia's Julian Service had three hits, including two home runs.
McKenzie Maxwell and Justin Randall also homered for the Braves who ended the tournament with a 1-3 record.
British Columbia, Chatham, NB, Quebec and Nova Scotia 1 advanced to Sunday's semifinals.
