Two men charged in connection with Sunday afternoon's armed robbery of the London Road TD bank appeared in Sarnia court Thursday.
Hassan Ali, 21, appeared by video and was remanded in custody to August 7 to confirm legal aid and set a date for a bail hearing.
Court records show Ali was out on bail on 13 robbery-related offences in the Toronto area in 2017.
Mushin Aden, 23, also appeared Thursday morning and was remanded in custody until August 7 for a bail hearing.
The two Mississauga/Etobicoke area men face numerous charges including robbery using a firearm, disguise with intent, flight from police and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
Two masked men, armed with what turned out to be replica handguns, robbed the TD bank just before 4 p.m. July 28 and fled in a vehicle.
OPP pursued the suspects to London where a taxi was hit by a police vehicle, critically injuring two fares in the cab, a 27-year-old woman and her nine-year-old daughter. They were still listed in critical condition on Thursday.
