COVID caseload up nine, one new school outbreak

Sarnia-Lambton's active COVID-19 caseload was up Friday morning.

Lambton Public Health reported nine new confirmed cases up to 4,218 and three more resolved cases up to 4,100, increasing the active case count by six to 47.

The death toll stands at 71 and there are four active outbreaks of the virus, up one from Thursday. The latest was declared at Brigden Public School. The Lambton Kent District School Board's COVID advisory page is listing one student and one staff case at the school.

Bluewater Health has four COVID-positive patients in hospital, up one.
