Those interested in learning more about Lambton county's history are encouraged to take a tour of area museums this summer.
Heritage Sarnia-Lambton has launched the "passport challenge".
Throughout July and August, guests are invited to visit each participating site, and collect a stamp at each one to complete their passport.
Curator Dana Thorne said each museum is unique.
"Each one kind of focuses on its own area," said Thorne. "So, there's a museum in Forest that looks at Forest specifically, or if you visit the Oil Museum of Canada you can learn more about the oil industry there. Depending on which site you're at, you'll be focused on a different aspect of Lambton's history."
Thorne said it's been exciting to welcome back visitors after the sites were closed off and on during the COVID pandemic.
"It has been great to see visitors coming back, especially as the nicer weather kicks in. I think a lot of people are doing some more travelling and spending time in Ontario this summer."
Prizes include a $100 Tourism Sarnia-Lambton gift card and museum prize pack.
Participating locations include the Arkona Lion’s Museum, Forest Museum, Lambton County Archives, Lambton Heritage Museum, Moore Museum, Oil Museum of Canada, and Sombra Museum.
Passports are available at each site, and the contest ends on August 31.
