There's sure to be something for everyone at Saturday's Shop The Shoreline event at Sarnia's Centennial Park.
There will be over 80 merchants from Sarnia and surrounding area, selling everything from jewellery, to art, to home decor, clothing, personal care items and food.
Host Cindy Scholten said the event, being held rain or shine, will include some fun activities for the kids.
"We'll have the Toxic Crush inflatable," said Scholten. "It might look pretty intimidating but it's actually family-friendly so parents can take their toddlers, it's for all ages. We'll also have airbrush face painting and balloon pets. So, even though it's a shopping event it's definitely family-friendly."
Scholten said over 3,000 people attended last year's inaugural event, and many vendors reported selling out.
"They were working off of their feet, so it's an awesome and crazy event," she said. "We're just going to keep expanding it every year. I've been approached by another organization which sounds really exciting for something to happen next year. So, stay tuned for that."
Scholten is urging people to come prepared.
"We want to make sure you bring your umbrellas, and bring lots of cash, although some vendors do take debit or credit or e-transfers. Just come prepared, I know we will have a lot of pet vendors, but I would recommend not bringing the dogs because it will already be congested with kids and everything."
There's no admission fee, but donations are being collected for the Sarnia Kinsmen Club who help support over 30 local charities.
Last year, over $5,000 was brought in for the Kinsmen.
Shop The Shoreline runs from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. from the Court of Flags to the Suncor Agora, along the water off of Front Street.
Parking will be available along Front Street.
