It's shaping up to be a busy fall season at Sarnia's Imperial Theatre as several shows are expected to hit the stage over the coming months.
Imperial Theater and Theatre Sarnia Executive Director Brian Austin Jr. said they're coming back "with a bang" this fall with shows that appeal to different groups.
In memory of the late Robbie Robertson, songs from The Band will be performed by Chest Fever: The Official Revival of the Band on Friday, September 8.
The following night will take on a different tone with a Yuk Yuk's comedy show on Saturday, September 9, featuring Mike Wilmot, Fiona O'Brien, and Don Pare. Tickets are already available online and through the box office.

Wilmot will headline the Yuk Yuk's event. He won two Canadian Comedy Awards in 2015 for best male stand-up and best actor in It's All Gone Pete Tong. He also appeared in TV shows such as Corner Gas and The Jon Dore Television Show.
Alternative rock band Finger Eleven will return to the city to perform on November 8. Tickets will go on sale at 9 a.m. on Thursday, August 17.
"The last time they were here (at the theatre) was January of 2019 and they sold the place out and they brought the place down, and that was before we had our new PA system so I'm very excited to hear them this time around," Austin Jr. said.
Lighthouse, a Juno-award winning Canadian band, will perform in Sarnia on Thursday, November 9.
Lastly, to get into the holiday spirit, Tyler Shaw will bring his Christmas show to the Imperial Theatre on Tuesday, November 21. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on August 17. The singer previously toured with Selena Gomez, Shawn Mendes, and Alessia Cara.

"I'm very excited to bring 'Top 40' music to the Imperial because usually we're a lot of classic rock and theatre but it'll be nice to bring pop music to the stage," he said.
Austin Jr. said the rest of the fall line-up has been doing very well and many shows are already sold out.
"To avoid disappointment, make sure you buy early," he said. "The support from the community is so rewarding, to see that we're programming stuff that people want to come and watch." Tickets for any shows at Imperial can be purchased online or through the box office at (519) 344-7469. www.imperialtheatre.net
