Sarnia police are looking to speak with witnesses as they investigate an incident in a shopping plaza in which a young person may have been stabbed.
Details about the "potential stabbing" were released Tuesday morning.
City police said officers were called to the No Frills Plaza at Exmouth Street and Indian Road on October 14, but everyone involved in the altercation took off before police arrived at the scene.
Those involved appeared to be between the ages of 16 and 22.
According to witnesses, the "incident was robbery motivated" and took place near a pathway between the plaza and the area of Hillary Street and Eastwood Street.
"Blood evidence located at the scene, coupled with witness observations, support that one or more of the involved parties may have received stab wound(s)," read a media release.
Police said the suspect's vehicle appeared to be a black Kia Sportage.
Three suspects were described as being white males. Police said the first suspect wore a green camouflage hoodie, the second wore a light grey hoodie, and the third wore a blue and red hoodie.
The possible victim was described as being a white male who was dressed in all black clothing. Police said the person had bleached blonde hair with black streaks, and a tattoo on his face.
