Dyson V6 vacuum replacement battery recalled

Health Canada has recalled the FirstPower 4000mAh V6 Battery Replacement.

The recall is due to fire and burn hazards.

The affected batteries were sold in Canada through Amazon Canada between January and April 2022. The batch numbers are PO2111150260 and PO2111120226.

The battery fits the Dyson V6 series vacuums SV04, DC58, DC59, DC61, DC62, DC72, DC74, Absolute Animal Motorhead Slim, SV03, SV04, SV05, SV06, SV07, SV09. The Amazon Standard Identification Number is B085RSLXK1.

Health Canada said the batteries are not a Dyson authorized product.

If you have the recalled batteries, you are advised to immediately stop use and contact your municipality for proper lithium-ion battery disposal.

Shenzhen Lepower International Electronics Co. Ltd. will provide a full refund or replacement battery for free upon request.
