Applications open for Creative County Grant Program

Lambton's Creative County Grant Program is ready to invest in new initiatives that promote arts, culture, and heritage.

Funding applications for 2025 will be accepted, beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, October 7.

Those planning for new or expanding initiatives can apply online to receive funding to cover up to 50 per cent of project costs.

County Councillor and Creative County Committee Chair Brad Loosley said the program supported 23 initiatives last year.

“The Creative County Grant Program helps bring innovative ideas to life,” said Petrolia's mayor. “These projects are essential in telling Lambton’s story and building a stronger, more connected community.”

The deadline to apply is at 4 p.m. on November 18.

The County of Lambton has allocated a budget of $75,000 for the program.

Since 2013, the grant program has supported more than 200 cultural initiatives across Lambton County.
