Three people arrested in break and enter, fourth suspect sought

Lambton OPP made multiple arrests in a break and enter Monday, and are still looking for another suspect.

OPP were called to a business on Florence Road in Dawn Euphemia at around 5 a.m.

Police said at about 4:30 a.m., four people entered the business after allegedly smashing the front window and stole a large amount of power tools valued at around $10,000, before fleeing in a pick-up truck.

A short time later, the suspect vehicle, which was discovered to be stolen from Strathroy, was spotted by Lambton OPP at an address on Jane Street in Thamesville, at which time three individuals fled on foot.

Members of the OPP Canine Unit, Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Chatham-Kent Police Service were dispatched to the area to assist in the investigation.

Police said the three suspects were located and taken into custody without incident.

Two Chatham residents, 42 and 38-years-old,  are charged with break and enter and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

A 41-year-old from Moravian First Nation is charged with break and enter and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and failure to comply with a release order.

Lambton OPP are hoping the public can help identify the fourth suspect.

They are described as about 5'5" to 5'7" tall, with an average build and was wearing a light coloured hoodie and dark running shoes.
