Significant damage in Marthaville fire

The Petrolia and North Enniskillen Fire Department responded to a structure fire late Friday afternoon.

The fire department was called to fire on Prince Street in Marthaville, with assistance from the Plympton-Wyoming Fire Department.

Firefighters said the wind driven fire did cause significant damage but they were able to save the home and a couple of garages.

Information surrounding any injuries, damage estimate and cause was not immediately available.
