Sarnia police have arrested two youths after alleged assaults involving a weapon on Tuesday.
At around 11 a.m., officers responded to a disturbance that began at Great Lakes Secondary School (GLSS) on Murphy Road and extended to the Howard Watson Trail near Clearwater Arena.
Police said the incident involved multiple individuals and included allegations of assaults with a weapon and physical assaults.
The victims sustained minor injuries, and police said this was an isolated incident with no ongoing risk to other students.
When contacted by Sarnia News Today, a representative with the Lambton Kent District School Board said they were aware of an incident that took place at an offsite location, but provided no further details.
Police said the investigation continues, and further information will be provided as it becomes available.
