Legionnaires celebrate Minor Hockey Night

Thursday's contest will be a special one for the Sarnia Legionnaires as the GOJHL club celebrates Minor Hockey Night.

They battle the Strathroy Rockets at 7 p.m.

All minor hockey players wearing a jersey will get into Pat Stapleton Arena for free, and admission for adults is just $7.50.

Fans will get a chance to see a new-look roster after the Legionnaires made several changes over the holidays.

Overall, they're 11-16-2-1 through 30 games, good for 10th place in the 12 team Western Conference.

The Legionnaires will be auctioning off Pat Stapleton Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago Cougars jerseys donated by the Cousi Hockey Group.

Funds raised will support hockey and goaltending development in Sarnia.
