Emergency responders at Imperial were called into action Tuesday morning.
A small fire on an out-of-service tank at the Sarnia refinery was extinguished by site crews at around 8:40 a.m.
Imperial said all personnel were accounted for and there were no injuries.
The tank was empty at the time and Imperial will be investigating the cause.
Lambton Public Health said the investigation is separate from the one announced on March 14.
The Sting captain was originally drafted by the Blues in the second round, 56th overall, in the 2024 NHL Draft.
Since Friday, March 21 there have two lab-confirmed cases reported in Lambton County.
The OPP said two storage sheds had been entered forcefully and approximately $10,000 worth of tools and a firearm were taken.
