Point Edward OPP detachment to stay open during area construction

Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police says the Point Edward detachment will be open during construction in the area.

Construction on St. Clair Avenue is expected to last approximately one month.

Access to the building and the area may be temporarily affected.

Members of the public seeking non-emergency assistance are advised to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.

The detachment will be open its regular hours, Monday to Friday 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Motorists are reminded to use caution while in the construction zone, to obey all signage and to remain alert for workers and equipment.
