A portion of Lyndoch Street will once again be shut down for bouncy castles, live entertainment and various family-friendly activities.
The Corunna Street Festival will be returning for its third year on Saturday, September 20 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m..
This year's festival is organized by the Optimist Club of Moore with support from St. Clair Township.
Planning Committee Chair Tracy Kingston said there will be a foam party, face painting and bubble shows.
"Something new this year, we've got a street sandbox, which going to be kind of fun," she said. "There's a toddler play zone, a chalk zone, St. Clair Township Fire will be there with their fire truck."
Indigenous talent will also be showcased with Great Lakes Woodland Dance happening at noon.
Kingston said also new this year is the festival raceway.
"We had local merchant, Bennett's Auto Repair approach us and wanted to do a little car race, so we're making up wooden cars for kids to paint and they'll bring it to the festival and then race for some great prices," she said.
Painting kits can be picked up at Bennett's Auto Repair Shop from August 27 until September 17.
There will also be a festival marketplace with over 40 artisans, crafts and vendors.
Kingston said the Corunna Royal Canadian Legion will also offer breakfast from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m.
"Adults are $12 and children are $6 at the Corunna Legion for breakfast and also there are free wagon rides as well," she said.
Kingston expects between 500 to 1,000 people to attend.
The festivities will shut down traffic on Lyndoch Street between Fane Street and Cameron Street.
