The Every Child Matters March will take place in downtown Sarnia, starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 27.
Community members will meet at Sarnia City Hall and the march will end at the First Nation Flag Court at Bayshore Park. Everyone's encouraged to wear orange shirts. This comes ahead of National Day of Truth and Reconciliation on September 30th.

Kettle and Stony Point First Nation will host an Every Child Matters Honour Walk on Monday evening.
It will begin on September 29 at 5 p.m. and travel from the Hillside School parking lot to the Kettle Point Monument.
There will be a moment of silence to honour residential school survivors, their families, and the children who didn't make it home.
Chief Kimberly Bressette is scheduled to give remarks and present a community quilt project.
Orange shirts will be handed out.
There will be drums, singing, and a round dance.

Lambton College has a series of events planned on Tuesday, September 30 to mark the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
There will be an Indigenous community panel and special remarks from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
From 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. a marketplace will be held, providing an opportunity to shop, support and learn more about Indigenous-owned business.
The event will conclude from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. with a discussion about continuing the journey towards truth and reconciliation.
Attendees are encouraged to wear orange as a show of support and solidarity.
The events will be held in the Lambton College Athletics and Fitness Complex.
