Four youths are facing charges in a series of "smash-and-grab style break and enter" incidents at two Sarnia businesses.
The Sarnia Police Service (SPS) said Sarnia Drip, a downtown clothing store, was broken into three times between July 13 and September 11.
Police said each time, the suspects allegedly threw an object through the window and took off with stolen merchandise.
Tugboat Vape, located on Murphy Road, was also broken into three times between September 4 and September 17.
In October, the SPS Criminal Investigations Division received information from Chatham-Kent police linking the occurrences to similar crimes in their jurisdiction.
Police obtained a warrant to search a Sarnia home.
"A substantial quantity of stolen property was recovered during the investigation and has since been returned to the victimized businesses," read an SPS media release.
Two youths were charged in connection to the break-ins at Sarnia Drip and Tugboat Vape. They were charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, break and enter, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
Also, in connection to the Tugboat Vape incidents, two additional youths were charged with break and enter.
The youths cannot be named as their identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
