OPP release details of ongoing Lambton Shores homicide investigation

Provincial police have identified the victim of a homicide investigation in Lambton Shores as 57-year-old Kimberly Hack.

Emergency crews were called to a residence on Northville Crescent, near Port Franks, on Saturday. A second person was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Five days later, Lambton OPP have released additional details about the investigation, officially identifying the accused as 23-year-old Justin Hack of Middlesex Centre.

He was charged with second degree murder, two counts of attempt to commit murder, assault with a weapon, two counts of aggravated assault, and failure to comply with a probation order.

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sarnia on December 10.

The Lambton County OPP Crime Unit is continuing the investigation in collaboration with the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service. OPP Forensic Identification Services is also assisting.

Woman reported missing

Police said 21-year-old Alesha Grant has been reported missing and there are concerns for her wellbeing.
