Three teens have been arrested for alleged "egging" incidents at several different convenience stores.
Sarnia police said they were called to a 24-hour convenience store near Cathcart Boulevard and Colborne Road at around 9:30 p.m. on January 24.
It's alleged a store clerk had things such as eggs, pickles, and onions thrown at her head by a group of teens who fled the area in a SUV.
Later at around 10:45 p.m., police allege they found the vehicle in a parking lot on Devine Street. While investigating, a 19-year-old and a 16-year-old surrendered to police.
Further investigation revealed the 19-year old had been arrested for similar incidents at convenience stores on Christina Street and Indian Road just days prior, on January 22.
Both teens were arrested and face multiple charges, including assault with a weapon.
A third young person is also facing two charges of mischief under $5,000 in relation to the incidents on January 22.
