OHL: Three game sevens in the OHL Tuesday night including the Sarnia Sting hosting Sault Ste. Marie. It'll be Sarnia's third game seven in franchise history and first since 2000. Elsewhere, Barrie hosts Mississauga and Peterborough is in North Bay.

MLB: Josh Donaldson, Michael Saunders and Josh Thole homered to help R.A. Dickey and the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Tampa Bay 5-3, improving to 2-0 on the young season. That series continues tonight where Aaron Sanchez will start for Toronto. The Tigers begin their season tonight in Miami.

Elsewhere

National League MVP Bryce Harper homered in his first at-bat of the season. Nationalss closer Jonathan Papelpon earned his 350th career save as Washington beat Atlanta 4-3 in 10 innings. The Chicago Cubs blanked the Los Angeles Angels 9-0. Jake Arrieta gave up two hits over seven dominant innings. Zack Greinke had a rough debut for Arizona, allowing three home runs for the first time since 2009. He gave up seven runs on nine hits in four innings as the Diamond Backs fell to the Colorado Rockies 10-5. The L.A. Dodgers routed San Diego 15-0. Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw went seven innings of one-hit ball, striking out nine. Bad weather has forced the postponement of two opening day games. Cleveland's home opener against Boston has been rescheduled for Tuesday. The same goes for the Yankees home opener against Houston.

NHL: Colin Greening scored twice in a losing effort as Florida edged Toronto 4-3. Rocco Grimaldi scored twice as the Panthers set a franchise record with their 99th point. John Tavares scored his 30th goal as the Islanders beat Tampa 5-2. The Islanders won for the third time in four games to reduce their magic number to two over Boston to secure a third straight post-season berth. The New York Rangers are in the playoffs after doubling up Columbus 4-2. The St. Louis Blues topped Arizona 5-2 to tie Dallas for first place in the Western Conference. Former Sting Connor Murphy had an assist for the Coyotes. The Vancouver Canucks beat the Los Angeles Kings 3-2.

Maple Leafs forward Nazem Kadri will miss the final four games of the regular season without pay for cross-checking Detroit's Luke Glendening in the back of the head. The discipline will cost Kadri $200,000

IIHF: Canada lost a heartbreaker in the final of the women's world hockey championship in Kamloops, B-C last night. Alex Carpenter scored the overtime winner for the United States in a 1-0 victory for the Americans. The U-S has won three world titles in a row and six of the last seven. It was the 18th time the two countries met in the tournament's final.

NCAA: Villanova has the second national title in school history thanks to three pointer in the final seconds from Kris Jenkins to cap off the 77-74 victory over North Carolina. Villanova's only other title came in 1985 when it upset Georgetown.

NBA: Former NBA stars Shaquille O'Neal and Allen Iverson head the 2016 class at the Basketball Hall of Fame. They are joined by longtime Michigan State coach Tom Izzo, Chinese NBA star Yao Ming, Sheryl Swoopes and Jerry Reinsdorf.

No games in the NBA Monday night. Toronto hosts Charlotte and the Pistons are in Miami Tuesday night

GOJHL: Nick Zottl scored and Corey Pawley had two assists, both Sarnia natives, as Caledonia beat St Catharines 4-1 to win the Golden Horseshoe Final and advance to the Sutherland Cup. London beat Leamington 4-1 to even the Western Conference Final 2-2. Strattford beat Waterloo 8-3 to take a 2-1 lead in the Midwest Final.
