Former Sting Finding Scoring Touch in NHL

Alex Galchenyuk has been one of the hottest scorers in the entire National Hockey League.

The former Sting captain scored a pair of goals in Montreal's win over Buffalo Thursday night. It's the third straight two goal game for Galcheyuk, who now has 11 goals in his last eight contests Thursday's game brought his point total to 46 on the season, tying a career high. He also has 25 goals on the campaign, also surpassing his previous high of 20. Sarnia selected Galchenyuk first overall in the 2010 OHL Priority Selection. He went third overall to Montreal in the 2012 NHL draft after missing the majority of the 2011-2012 season due to injury.

Galchenyuk finished his Sting career with 58 goals and 144 points in 103 regular season games. He has 150 points in 261 games with Montreal.
