Sting add forward depth in trade with Greyhounds

The Sarnia Sting have acquired forward Daylen Moses from the Soo Greyhounds.

The Sting are sending a conditional 12th round pick in the 2025 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection back to the Hounds.

Moses, a 6’1”, 180 pound 18-year-old, was a free agent before signing with the Greyhounds during the 2021-2022 season.

The Ottawa, Ontario native spent that season with the Ottawa Senators U18 AAA of the HEO 'AAA' Hockey League, where he recorded 11 goals and eight assists through 26 games played.

In 2022-23, he put up four points in 35 contests in a Greyhounds uniform.

Sting General Manager Dylan Seca expects Moses to fit in well with the organization.

"He's a competitive forward with size and can skate," said Seca. "He also helps our right side from a depth perspective. We’ll see how he transitions into our program. We welcome Daylen and the Moses family to Sarnia."

The Sarnia Sting's next preseason game is scheduled for Wednesday September 20 as they host the Windsor Spitfires at Pat Stapleton Arena.

General Admission tickets for the game can be purchased online at tickets.sarniasting.com or at the Box Office during regular hours.
