Windsor police are asking for the public's help in finding a driver involved in a hit-and-run crash.
The incident occurred shortly after 10am Sunday. Police say they were called to MacDougall Ave. and Elliott St. E for a report of a collision involving two vehicles and a transport truck.
Constable Andy Drouillard says the transport truck was travelling north on MacDougall and was stopped at a red light, with a grey SUV waiting right behind it. A white pickup truck struck the SUV, pushing it into the transport truck in a chain-reaction collision.
The SUV ended up pushed against the rear of the transport truck. The driver had to be extricated from the vehicle and was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the white pickup truck ran from the scene after the pickup ended up against a building.
The driver is described as a white male about 30 years old. He is 5' 7" tall with a slim build, blonde hair, and was wearing a grey hoodie.
The Traffic Investigations Unit is still looking into this incident.
