Police Looking For Rightful Owners Of Stolen Property

If your house has been broken into recently, Windsor police may have some of your stolen items.

Police arrested a 40-year-old from Windsor on February 2 in relation to a break and enter at a home on Norcrest Ave.

During the investigation, police seized a large quantity of stolen property from a home. They say much of it has been identified and returned however they still have a number of unclaimed items.

If your house has been broken into and you are missing jewellery, prescription sunglasses, purses or handbags or any kind of collectables you are encouraged to contact Windsor police on a dedicated phone line 519-255-6700 ext. 4820.

The suspect is now facing four additional charges of break and enter, and 13 charges of possession of stolen property.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
