Essex-Windsor EMS is putting together a plan for services for the next decade, and it wants to hear from you.
"Our residents know better than anyone what works well and what needs improvement," said EMS Chief Bruce Krauter. "The public's input will help steer this master plan and provide a solid foundation for the continuation of high-quality pre-hospital emergency care."
The service has launched an online survey.
The survey will be promoted through social media using the hashtag #helpYOURems. Phone surveys and door-to-door canvassing will also be part of the public engagement process.
Essex-Windsor EMS provides land ambulance services to Essex County, Windsor, and the Township of Pelee. It has 14 ambulance bases across the region, and a staff of 175 full-time paramedics and 100 part-time paramedics.
