The Community Response and Stabilization Team is holding more vaccine clinics to provide access to boosters for residents in Leamington.
On Wednesday afternoon, the provincial government announced booster shots would be made available for the following groups of people who received their shot at least six months ago.
-Age 70+ (Birth year 1951); -Healthcare workers and designated essential caregivers in congregate settings; -Ontarians who had TWO doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine; and -First Nations, Inuit and Métis people and non-Indigenous members of their households.
Beginning Monday November 8, the CRST will hold vaccine clinics on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 10-3 at Leamington Town Hall. No appointment is required.

We know that third-dose booster shots are vital to maintaining safety and minimizing burden for some of our most vulnerable, including healthcare workers,” said Kristin Kennedy, President and CEO of Erie Shores Health Care.
The clinic will also give give first and second shots to eligible residents aged 12 and older.
The CRST will also hold clinics for first, second, and third doses (to eligible residents) in West Windsor at the Windsor-Essex Community Health Centre on Tuesdays between 10-3 p.m.
Third doses of COVID-19 vaccine will also be available via area pharmacies and health care professionals, as well as by appointment at the Mass Vaccination Centre in Windsor's Devonshire Mall.
