University of Windsor pauses vaccination requirements

Vaccine requirements at the University of Windsor are suspended for the upcoming fall semester.

Executive Director of the Office of Public Affairs and Communications at the University of Windsor, Renee Trombley, wrote to WindsorNewsToday.ca on Tuesday that "vaccine requirements have been paused for fall 2022 at the University of Windsor."

According to a policy released on June 6, face masks are not mandatory upon entry to indoor spaces but are required in classrooms, labs, meeting rooms, and anywhere else where it is impossible to maintain two-metres distance from others.

At St. Clair College, students are encouraged to say up to date with their vaccinations and wear a mask if they choose.  Vaccinations continue to be available at the Health Centre on the main campus in Windsor.  A

WindsorNewsToday.ca reached out to an official at St. Clair College to see if there have been any updates to its COVID-19 policy.  A full breakdown of the college's COVID-19 policies can be found on the college's website.
