Caesars makes donation to Windsor Essex Pride Fest

As Windsor-Essex Pride Fest prepares for its annual festival, Caesars Windsor made a major donation to the organization.

Caesars Windsor Cares made a $12,200 donation to the Windsor-Essex Pride Fest social programs to support 2SKGBTQIA+ youth in the community.

"When we have community allies that makes so much difference," said Wendy Nicholson, president of Windsor-Essex Pride Fest. "It's like the 2SLGBTQIA community isn't here fighting by ourselves we have allies."

The programming will provide opportunities for meaningful social engagement and increased connections within the Two-Spirit, Lesbian, gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer, Intersex and Asexual community.

”Caesars Windsor is a strong supporter of diversity, inclusion and the 2SLGBTQIA+ community,” said Susanne Tomkins, Manager of Public Relations and Communications. “With our employees and guests, we foster an environment where you can have fun and be yourself.”

Nicholson indicated planning is well underway for the Windsor-Essex Pride Fest in August.
