A Windsor Police officer has been charged with sexual assault.
Constable Ali Karhani faces two counts of sexual assault in relation to off-duty incidents that involved alleged inappropriate physical contact.
The charges were laid after an investigation by the Windsor Police Major Crimes Unit.
Karhani, who has been with the Windsor Police Service for six years, has been suspended with pay pending the outcome of the judicial process.
The Windsor Police Service will release no further details as the matter is before the courts.
