Spitfires' Jack Nesbitt picked up in NHL Entry Draft

Windsor Spitfires centre Jack Nesbitt has been picked in the NHL Entry Draft by the Philadelphia Flyers in round one.

Nesbitt produced nearly a point a game last season with 64 points in 65 games, an increase of 46 points from his rookie season.

He also helped Team Canada win the gold at the 2025 Under-18 World Championship, where he got five points in six games.

The Los Angeles Kings chose London Knights defenceman Henry Brzustewicz, who is ranked among the top 20 OHL defenceman, with 42 points. That's a 36-point jump from his rookie season. He also helped win the 2025 Memorial Cup with five points in 17 playoff games and the OHL title in 2024.
