Deere and Company is expecting a 25 per cent drop in it's worldwide sales of agriculture and turf equipment this year.
The company's third quarter financial report blames lower commodity prices and falling farm incomes.
It says the the decline is most pronounced in the higher-horsepower models - with mostly positive conditions in the U-S livestock sector supporting some improvement in the sales of smaller sizes of equipment.
Deere is predicting a 25 per cent drop in it's U-S and Canadian sales, a 10 per cent drop in Europe, up to 25 per cent lower sales in South America and a moderate decline in Asia.
Deere reports it's overall worldwide net sales and revenues were down 20 per cent for the third quarter, 18 per cent lower than 2014 for the first nine months of the year.
