FBI Training Success Story

The deputy chief of the Chatham Kent Police Service says graduating with distinction from the training program at the FBI National Training academy is an honour, but it is the contacts and friendships he treasures most.

Gary Conn reported to the Police Service Board on his completion of the 11 week course ending in December, and says everything about it was a highlight.

"The academic components, and the physical training components and the networking," he says. "The meeting of, and building friendships with other senior officers from around the world."

Conn says participants are all senior officers and found a lot of similarities in issues their organizations face.
