Liberals Want Healthcare Talks (GALLERY)

The federal opposition is demanding government bring back talks with provinces about healthcare.

The Liberals say, if elected into power in this year's federal election, they would make healthcare more of a priority with the feds.

Chatham-Kent-Leamington Liberal candidate Katie Omstead feels healthcare in the region has been pushed aside by the Conservatives. "That's why we need a new government in 2015. Without increased funding, and without actually talking to service providers, our healthcare can't improve."

Canada currently ranks ten out of 11 countries in health according to the US's Commonwealth Fund.
