Hugh Hefner Dead At 91

Hugh Hefner, the founder of Playboy magazine, has died at the age of 91.

According to reports, Hefner passed away peacefully on Wednesday from natural causes at his home, the Playboy Mansion, surrounded by loved ones.

Hefner rose to fame with the publication of the first issue of Playboy in December of 1953, which featured Marilyn Monroe in the nude. Hefner launched media and lifestyle company Playboy Enterprises Inc. in the same year, and served as a board member until his death.

In 1971, Hefner purchased the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles, where he lived until the time of his passing.

Hefner was also the star of E! reality show The Girls Next Door, which documented the lives of the Playmates and their relationship with Hefner inside the mansion.

He is survived by his wife and four children.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
