Two IndyCar drivers have been crowned champions on Detroit's Belle Isle.
Scott Dixon of New Zealand and American Ryan Hunter-Reay are this year's Dual in Detroit winners at the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix IndyCar race, held throughout the weekend at the landmark island park.
This is the sixth year in a row that twin 70-lap races were held over the course of the weekend.
The first race was run on the 3.7km track Saturday, with Dixon leading the race for 39 laps and finishing with a total time of 1:39:24.61. Hunter-Reay finished second in the first race, passing the checkered flag 1.82 seconds later. American Alexander Rossi came in third.

It was the second Detroit win for the 37-year-old Dixon, who won it in 2012.
The second race was run on Sunday, and it got underway after a half-hour delay, caused by a incident involving the pace car. Rossi led late in the race until car trouble stopped him briefly with seven laps to go. Hunter-Reay passed Rossi and took the win, his first on the IndyCar circuit since the 2015 ABC Supply 500 at Pocono.
Australian Will Power, coming off a win last week at the Indianapolis 500, took second place in the Sunday race. United Arab Emirates-born British driver Ed Jones finished third.
