Boat And Trailer Stolen

Chatham-Kent police say they're trying to track down a boat and trailer that were stolen sometime over the past week and a half.

Officers say they were reported stolen on Tuesday, but it's believed they were taken sometime since June 18, 2018.

The boat is described as a yellow Tahoe Q4 Ski Boat on a trailer that had an Ontario licence plate of K1860N.

Vehicle Stolen Overnight

Police say they are also looking for a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix that was stolen sometime late Monday night or early Tuesday morning.

Officers say it was taken from an address on Ordon Blvd. in Chatham and was last seen with Ontario licence plates AHTC 301.

Break And Enter At Business Chatham

Chatham-Kent police are appealing to the public for tips after a laptop computer and a computer monitor were stolen from a business on Queen St. in Chatham.

Police say someone smashed the front window of the business in order to get in.

TV, Gaming Laptop, Coin Collection Stolen

Police are also investigating a break-in on Given Rd. in Chatham where suspects pried open a door to get into the residence.

Officers say it happened sometime between 6am and 12pm Tuesday.

Whoever broke in, stole a 42" Samsung TV, a Mygica Android box, a Samsung Series 7 gaming laptop, a coin collection, and some jewelry.

Stunt Driving Charge On Hwy. 401

A 36-year-old Strathroy-Caradoc man will have to get around without a licence or a vehicle for at least the next week after he was pulled over for speeding on the Hwy. 401.

Police say he's charged with stunt driving after an officer recorded an eastbound vehicle going more than 150 km/h on the highway near Orford Rd. at around 7:30pm Monday.

The driver's licence has been suspended and the vehicle has been impounded for a week.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
