Speeder stopped in CK
A 21-year-old Windsor man will have to hitch a ride with someone else for the next week or so after Chatham-Kent police allegedly caught him going more than double the speed limit.
The official Twitter account for the Traffic Unit of the Chatham-Kent Police Service sent out a picture of a roadside stop just before 1 p.m. Thursday afternoon, indicating that an officer had pulled over a vehicle that was going a reported 166 kilometres per hour in a posted 80 km/h zone.
The driver's licence was suspended and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

Tuscany Trail break-in
Chatham-Kent police are asking for the public's help as they try to track down some leads in connection with a break-in on Tuscany Trail in Chatham.
Police said they received the call at around 10 a.m. Thursday, adding that their investigation showed approximately $5,000 worth of construction tools and fixtures were taken.

Break-in at Tilbury drug store
Police are also investigating a separate break-in at the Pharmasave on Queen Street in Tilbury.
Officers said they responded to an alarm call at the store at around 1 a.m. Friday, adding that someone broke in by smashing a front window. There is no word on what -- if anything -- was taken.
The investigation is still ongoing.
