Charge laid after crash in Chatham
The damage is estimated at $5,000 and one person was taken to the hospital as a precaution after a two-vehicle crash on Victoria Avenue in Chatham Sunday evening.
Police said they were called to the scene between McNaughton Avenue and Wiltshire Drive shortly after 6 p.m. Sunday.
The driver who officers determined was at fault was charged with an undisclosed offence.

Chatham-Kent police are asking for help from the public in identifying two women in connection with a theft investigation at The Source on St. Clair Street in Chatham.
The incident police are investigating happened last week.

Tools, computer targeted during break-ins
Chatham-Kent police are appealing to the public for tips as they try to solve a pair of break-ins.
Police said the first one took place at North Element on Garnet Street in Wallaceburg. Someone broke into the business early Sunday morning and took off with a desktop computer. The damage was estimated at $400.

The second case was at a home under construction on Grande River Line in Dover Township. Police said someone broke into the building and stole about $700 worth of various tools.

Arrests on warrants
The law has come calling for two men in their 50s who were wanted by Chatham-Kent police.
Officers said they caught up with a 53-year-old man on Sunday afternoon who was wanted for fraud-related offences and failing to attend court.
Police also arrested a 51-year-old man Sunday night who was wanted for weapon-related offences and failing to attend court.
Both of the accused were taken into custody pending bail hearings.
