Man arrested on dangerous weapon charge
A 28-year-old is facing charges after allegedly pulling a knife out on someone.
Police say they responded to a business on King Street West in Chatham on Friday evening. It had been reported that a man had pulled a knife out on an employee and then fled the area.
The 28-year-old was eventually located and arrested. He was taken into police custody and held for bail.
Break and enter in Blenheim
Cops are investigating after someone broke into a garage in Blenheim.
Officers responded to reports of a break and enter Friday morning on Chatham Street North.
Unknown people cut the lock to a secure garage door and entered the building. It is not known what was taken.

Pair of thefts in Chatham
Police are looking for information after a couple of thefts in Chatham.
Friday morning, cops responded to Park Street for a mischief and theft complaint.
Unknown people cut locks off of a container on the property with several automobile tires inside. The suspect got away with an unknown amount of tires.
Also on Friday morning, officers responded to a mischief and theft complaint at a residence on Park Avenue West.
Unknown people cut locks to the gate on the property and stole a utility trailer, which was located a short distance away.
Both investigations are ongoing and there are no suspects.

Two busted for bail violations
Police were able to nab two people Friday evening who were found to be in violation of their bail conditions.
First, an officer on general patrol in Chatham located a man at the Super 8 Motel.
He was identified and found to be failing to comply with his release order. The 62-year-old was arrested, taken to the police station and eventually released with a future court date.
Then, an officer on patrol in Ridgetown located a woman on Victoria Street. She was identified and found to be failing to comply with her release order.
The 24-year-old was arrested, taken to police headquarters and released with a future court date.
Disturbance call leads to arrest
Two people were arrested after having too much to drink in Chatham.
Officers were called to the area of Fourth Street early Saturday morning for reports of a disturbance.
A 20-year-old man and 23-year-old woman were found to be intoxicated and were both arrested. They were held at the police station until they sobered up.
Man arrested on outstanding warrant
Early Saturday morning an officer on patrol on Wallaceburg located a man on James Steet.
The man was known to have a warrant for failing to attend as well as mischief under $5,000.
The 27-year-old was arrested and held at police custody for bail.
