The Chatham Maroons will try to get some revenge on the road Thursday night as they visit the Legionnaires at Sarnia Arena.
Chatham's coming off of a 5-4 overtime loss against Sarnia at Memorial Arena Sunday night.
The Maroons are still in a fight with LaSalle for fourth place in the standings and home-ice advantage in the first round of the playoffs with less than two weeks left in the regular season.
With six games remaining, the Maroons trail the Vipers by five points. Chatham has one game in hand on LaSalle, but the Maroons also have a tough schedule to close out the season with matchups against second-place Leamington, top-ranked London, and third-place St. Marys making up their last three games.
The Maroons have yet to lose at the Brock Street Barn this season, beating the Legionnaires twice on the road early in the schedule 5-2 and 5-1. However, the Legionnaires will have recent history on their side, having won each of their last two meetings with Chatham (3-1 and 5-4 in OT).
The Maroons only need one more win or a Strathroy loss in regulation to secure at least fifth place in the standings.
