COVID-19 outbreaks at two long-term care homes in Sarnia have been declared over.
Lambton Public Health updated its website Thursday night to report that no new cases have been confirmed at Marshall Gowland Manor and Village on the St. Clair since May 15, and those outbreaks have ended.

The health unit is still monitoring the situation at Lambton Meadowview Villa where a staff member had tested positive for the virus.
A total of 48 confirmed cases at Vision Nursing Home are split evenly between residents and staff. Seven residents have died since an outbreak was declared April 23 at the Wellington Street facility.
The number of cases across Sarnia-Lambton remained at 261 Friday morning with no new cases being reported. Six more people have recovered for a total of 196.
Bluewater Health reported Friday that 13 patients in hospital are confirmed to have the virus while 26 are suspected of having it with tests pending. Nine COVID-positive residents from Vision Nursing Home were moved to the hospital.
