Man faces weapons charges after allegedly hiding shotgun in sweater

A 42-year-old Chatham man is facing weapon and theft charges after a weapons complaint turned up a shotgun and a stolen vehicle.

Police said the man arrived at an address in a car and was allegedly observed with what appeared to be a long gun wrapped in a sweater.

Officers located the man and found the weapon to be a shotgun.
