Woman caught stealing from truck on video 

A woman is facing charges after she was caught stealing from a truck on McNaughton Avenue in Wallaceburg.

Police said the woman was caught on video which helped officers identify her.

The woman, who was also wanted for outstanding warrants, was located later that day in possession of some of the stolen items.

She was arrested and taken to police headquarters where she was held for a bail hearing.

Suspicious vehicle complaint leads to warrant arrest

Chatham-Kent police knocked another name off their outstanding warrant list Sunday after receiving a suspicious vehicle complaint.

Police said officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that matched the description they were given which led to the arrest.

The driver was released on the warrant with a future court date.

Woman arrested after wildish outburst in Wallaceburg 

A woman spent some time in a holding cell after a wildish outburst at a residence on Elm Drive in Wallaceburg.

Police said they received a call for the disturbance sometime Sunday.

Officers arrived to find the woman acting out of control.

Police said the woman, who also had outstanding warrants, was placed under arrest and taken to police headquarters.

She was held for a bail hearing.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
