A new playground is about to open in Chatham.
Owner Lilly Singh said The Magic Land at 600 Junction Avenue in Chatham is expected to be open to kids of all ages in about a month once the finishing touches are complete.
Singh said her husband and the engineers are working feverishly, receiving and setting up the equipment to get the large playground open as soon as possible.
Singh said they can't wait to welcome the public and hope they have an amazing time.
"I'm 27 years old and I went into a slide and it was so fast. I really had fun," said Singh.
Singh said the idea for the business was born when her and husband Jarman had a tough time finding a good playground for their young daughter.
"We have a little daughter, she's five years old and we moved to so many places because my husband works in I-T. We traveled around and tried so many parks. We used to play with her and this idea came...why don't we open our own park because we really enjoy it," she said.
The new playground will have plenty of adventures and fun for the young and young at heart, including a Foam pit, Ninja course, Rope Course, Wall climbing, Sky stepper, Rainbow climbing, Donut slide, and Toddler zone.
