Chatham-Kent Toy Show and Sale returns Sunday

Anticipation is building for the Chatham-Kent Toy Show and Sale to be back for its 21st annual event.

This year's show takes place on Sunday, January 21 at the John D. Bradley Convention Centre, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Organizers Rob and Carl Sterling are expecting another record-breaking event. Last year’s show drew more than 2,000 people and 190 tables.

"We're maxed out at the Bradley Centre as far as tables," said Rob Sterling. "We're sitting around 210 to 215 for tables."

The show will feature a wide variety of collectibles including farm toys, trains, sports cards, trucks, construction vehicles, model shops, planes, cars, action figures, dolls, books, and coins.

"It's anything you can buy, sell, trade, or collect," said Carl Sterling. "It's a fun day for people to come. It's for all ages, it doesn't matter. You go in there and you live back your memories."

Admission is $5 for adults, $2 for students, and free for kids six and under.

Proceeds from the show are going to Chatham-Kent 4-H Club and Chatham Outreach for Hunger.
