Greentree gets three assists in Spitfires win against Brantford

Windsor continued its hot start to the season with a convincing win against the Brantford Bulldogs on Saturday.

The Spitfires ended up winning 4-1 on the road, getting their third win in a row.

Ilya Protas scored his 2nd of the year to open the scoring in the first. Captain Liam Greentree grabbed the assist on the play.

Cole Davis made it a 2-0 lead with his 3rd just over three minutes later. Greentree got another assist, while Anthony Cristoforo got the other helper.

AJ Spellacy added to the Spitfires lead in the second with his 2nd of the year. Noah Morneau and Ryan Abraham each got an assist.

Abraham would find the back of the net in the third for his 3rd of the season. Greentree would get his third assist of the night.

The Bulldogs’ Noah Nelson would break up the shutout with just under eight minutes left in the game.

Jack Nesbitt ended up getting an empty-netter to finish off the Bulldogs.

With the win, Windsor improves its record to 4-0-1-0, while Brantford moves to 1-3-0-1.

The Spitfires' next game is on Friday, Oct.11, on the road against the Brampton Steelheads.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
