London's Deputy Police Chief Retiring

London's Deputy Chief of Police Brent Shea is retiring this summer.

Shea has had a 36-year-long career with the London Police Service and will officially retire on August 29, 2015. However, due to accrued time he will be leaving on July 13, 2015.

“Deputy Chief Shea has had an outstanding career with the London Police Service and has made many significant contributions to the advancement of policing at the local, provincial and national levels," says Police Services Board Char Jeannette Eberhard. "He has served on numerous boards and commissions within the community and they too have benefitted from his knowledge and experience."

Police Chief Brad Duncan also announced his retirement in the fall. His last day will be May 1.
